Hello to Everyone! |
|
I was 5 years old when my mother read me Thomasina by Paul Galliko.
It was summer. We had rented a small cottage in the forest.
The pine forest was dry and sunny.
Each morning we took a book and went to a broken pine, sat on a log and read.
A woodpecker knocked above us. We were happy. Then I believed that cats have souls and
that cats can love and be devoted.
My mother allows me to have pets. I have a cat, a hamster and a fish. They are my good friends.
We still like to read about animals. I have many books of Gerald Durrell, Dzems Kervud,
Juan Ramon Jimenez, Seton Thomson and other good authors in my home library.
On this site you can read stories about animals written by kids.
If you want to share your story you can send me an email. I’ll add your story to the site.
